What Should Be the Behaviour and Character Of Perfect Muslim like Prophet MUHAMMAD (SAW)

 Based on the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, what qualities should Muslims possess?

 Akhlaq, or good character, is a requirement for faith in Islam and is not optional. Muslims were instructed by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to model their behavior, speech, and interactions with others after Islamic ideals.


                                            


 Purpose of Good Character

 Prophet Muhammad emphasized moral development as part of his mission.  This demonstrates that Islam is more than just a religion; it is also about how we treat one another in everyday life. 

Essential Qualities Instilled in Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)

1. Sincerity


The Prophet (ﷺ) emphasized honesty in all circumstances and always told the truth. While lying undermines character and faith, being truthful fosters relationships and increases trust.

Lesson: When speaking, doing business, and making promises, a Muslim should be truthful.


                                                           

2. Mercy and Kindness


Children, the elderly, the impoverished, and even those who disagreed with him were all treated with kindness by Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Instead of seeking retribution, he demonstrated pity and forgiveness.

Lesson: Being kind to others softens their hearts and draws them closer to Islam.

3. Endurance (Sabr)


The Prophet (ﷺ) endured adversity, insults, and challenges with patience. He never responded cruelly or with rage.

Lesson: A Muslim should be calm and patient, particularly in difficult situations.
 

4. Humility.

 
Despite being a leader, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) maintained a humble lifestyle. He never believed he was superior than anyone else.

 Lesson: True greatness comes from humility, not vanity.
 

5. Respect and respectful behavior. 


The Prophet () treated women, neighbors, visitors, and even animals with respect. He spoke respectfully, avoiding harsh remarks.
 
Lesson:Good manners demonstrate a strong sense of faith.

 6. Forgiveness.

 
Despite having the right to punish, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) forgave them. His forgiveness converted rivals into devotees.
 
Lesson: Forgiving others is excellent for the soul.

                                           

Good moral character in day-to-day activities.


In order to follow the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ),

I'm being courteous.

helping others.

keeping my words

Steer clear of anger and lies.

Everyone deserves respect.

In conclusion:


The importance of honesty, kindness, patience, humility, respect, and forgiveness was highlighted by Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). We become better people when we live this way. Our actions reveal the genuine essence of Islam.

Good people are loved by Allah. Both the hereafter and the present are made brighter by it.
